Gunma University Multicultural Community Education and Research Project Office has four conferences and committees, promoting the training project of "Multicultural Community Advancement Officers" in close cooperation with communities and related organizations, in addition to various people within the campus.

Faculty and staff members of Gunma University, relevant people, and Gunma Prefecture Department of Citizens and Culture NPO/Multicultural Community Advancement Division participate in these meetings for smooth operations for personnel training, which contributes to the development of a multicultural community.

This committee selects educational items, develops its curriculum and discusses specific items related to the prosecution of the projects. This committee is run by faculty members of each department of Gunma University, Gunma Prefecture Department of Citizens and Culture NPO/Multicultural Community Advancement Division.

To evaluate the achievements of the project, an assessment committee comprised of a chair of Gunma Prefecture Department of Citizens and Culture, people related to business, finance, and education was assembled. At the conference for progress reports in September, feedback regarding the students' presentation was given.

To promote projects with local interested organizations, conferences are held about twice a year, gathering people from various fields. In these conferences, advice necessary for planning, management and cooperation with the community are given to promote the projects.
